A common and often frustrating experience is when other people talk relentlessly without stopping.
Sometimes they speak really fast giving loads of information, especially if they are emotionally upset or just from New York. Either way, this can often be overwhelming for the listener.
The technique of active listening interruption/active interruption teaches people how to proactively and assertively participate in a conversation, even if it’s with multiple participants over the phone or with a senior person.
With this in mind I want to share some tips on ‘active interruption’ and why this technique is so useful.
